At Howard SEM Group we have taken steps to reduce our carbon footprint by;
- Telecommuting as much as possible & carpooling when traveling to the same destination.
- Taking the stairs instead of the elevator to stay fit and reduce energy whenever possible.
- Saving paper as much as much as we possibly can, and/or printing on both sides using only recycled paper.
- Removing our name off unwanted catalogs, newspaper and magazine subscriptions to reduce waste.
- Videoconferencing to reduce the amount of travel to meetings with colleagues and clients
- As of May 2010 we have moved our website hosting to one of the first-ever Green Data Centers in Los Angeles, California. Through the advanced cooling technology they use, they are able to reduce their carbon footprint by 2,000 tons per year.
Promote Green Business
Work together with us to help recreate some of what we, use or essentially destroy.
